Sheet metal laser cutting is a modern method of treatment of dimensional parameters similar to the classic machining. A main difference consists in a use of different cutting tool that is a hot laser beam with a high purity industrial gas. Depending on a type of the device, especially on its power, the laser cutting of sheet metals is carried out in one of three ways: by combustion, by melting or by sublimation.
The operation of systems TruLaser 3030/3040/3060 are based on a principle that is called “Flying Optics” and are a result of intensive research and continuous development of laser technology. Combining it with a modern design and the state-of-the-art control has resulted in a highest class of machines for cutting sheet metals. The individual types of laser cutting machines differ with each other by their size and laser power. The selection of a concrete machine depends on laser power and required operational area.
TRIUMPF laser cutting machines are now considered as standard in its category. Their biggest advantages are: a very high level of mechanical sophistication, use of the best laser technology, a high-speed control system and an excellent support of TruTops programming language. TRUMPF machines offer a wide range of features and the way of their design and construction ensures excellent effects of laser treatment.
The main purpose of laser cutters is to cut, but the laser beam also allows for:
- marking details for identification purposes,
- adding the central points of punching on the material,
- processing foil-coated sheet metals.
A primary benefit of the automation idea of systems TruLaser 3030/3040/3060 is their modular design. Availability of a large number of automation components allows us to offer every customer a solution individually tailored to his needs, ranging from semi-automatic material feeding, up to fully automated production system.
